1 | Which saints will be left behind? | 1 Thess 4:17 | M.Royal | 188723
Hello Wannabapostule, The chapter spreaks of the day of the Lord and what is to happen, however some find what has been said in the epistles hard to understand. Not all that Jesus said was understood by the disciples. In John 6:60 the disciples state "This is a hard saying; who can hear it?" I hope this is helpful to you. Yours sincerely M.Royal |

2 | Which saints will be left behind? | 1 Thess 4:17 | Bauhinia | 188730
No saints will be "left behind." The saints "who are alive" at the coming of the Lord will be "always with the Lord" when they're resurrected to heaven after they die. (1 Corinthians 15:36; 1 Thessalonians 4:15, 16)
3 | Which saints will be left behind? | 1 Thess 4:17 | M.Royal | 188731
Hi Bauhinia, I agree with you, however the problem arises concerning the order of events with regards to the saints that "had gotten the victory over the beast" and come out of great tribulation Rev.7:9,14. Rev.15:1,2. and also the 144,000 saints that are here during the wrath of God being poured out. Since no saints will be left, then the rapture must take place after these events have happened, if not saints must be left behind for these saints to be in heaven for the reasons stated. Thanks for your input. Yours sincerely M.Royal |
