1 | Mercy can only go so far... right? | Eph 5:5 | malspa | 67527
Isn't it a little ironic that the Bible is the most shoplifted book in America? Do these people think they will get any closer to our Beloved God? I am distraught with emotions toward anybody that could do this. I know that if a person steals a bible, however believes in Our One True God, they will be forgiven. The problem is; Our God is a Merciful God, but can God be pushed too far?

The Bible should not have to be stolen and, in my understanding and experience, is meant to be given freely amoungst us...I'm sure we all agree that God has made it clear that it's a sin to steal but...in my opinion, God is probably more angry at those who sell the Bible for profit and at anyone who has not given a Bible freely to one in need then to someone who, for whatever reason, felt the need to steal the Word of God....furthermore, it seems like God would prefer that a person get into the Word by whatever means possible than to not at all...although, I do not condone stealing, I would find it hard to judge a person or condemn them for taking what God has already freely given to us all from the beginning!
