1 | Judge for yourselves. | 1 Cor 2:15 | Norrie | 32277
I have a good article about judging agreeing w/what you have here but it's prob. way too long to copy. I get so sick of these athiests and perverts who always throw in your face "Judge not lest ye be judged". Duh! Seems we are told to judge practically everything.
2 | Judge for yourselves. | 1 Cor 2:15 | kalos | 32280
Norrie: Thanks for the feedback. I agree with you entirely. If there is one verse in the Bible that is misused and misapplied more than any other, it may be "Judge not lest ye be judged." To misuse this verse really shows a depth of understanding. Does anyone ever read anything in the Bible IN CONTEXT? Or applying the principle of analogia Scriptura? As you noted, it does seem we are told to judge practically everything. And may I point out, what I wrote is not quoted or derived from some commentator; it is merely the scripture verses themselves that tell us WHAT we are to judge. Grace to you, kalos |
