Greetings Jesusman! You have been a worthy contributer to this forum for quite some time now. I certainly hope that you do not cease to contribute to the forum my friend! I also commend you for your very obvious efforts to be a good witness for Christ to those who are lost. I have not read every post to you, but it seems to me that most people are reacting to the implication that we need something else in addition to Scripture to be effective in our witness. There is certainly no problem with sharing facts with those who ask of them. However, I am not sure that facts will really make that much of a difference. What I mean is this: The religious leaders alive at the time of the birth, ministry, death, and resurrection of Christ had access to all of the facts of the case, but most of them still rejected Christ. :-) I understand that you are not saying the Bible needs to be replaced! :-) I would encourage you to remember your witness to those who disagree with you on issues as well. One of the really difficult parts of being a contributor to a public forum is that one's words stay accessible to the public for a long time. :-) So, please don't be angry with those who disagree with you my friend! I did read one response to you that I thought was an inappropriate personal attack. I plan on addressing that poster. Keep on witnessing! Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
