Hi, Anna... Good question! Very good question indeed! While it is true that God has a love for His creation in general, He also has a special kind of love for the bride of Christ (i.e., the elect). Just as a believer I have a general sort of love for all people, yet I have a special kind of love I reserve for my wife alone. There are various assurances we can have that we are saved. The disciple of Christ is described in John 15. Please see my post 153858 for particulars in this regard.
