2 | God selection for His protection | Rom 8:32 | Pastor Glenn | 91158 | ||
confusing, Welcome back to the forum. God protected Jesus for a time, but He came into the world for the purpose of dying for our sins. He was greater than Abel, because Christ was perfect, but God did not spare Him: Romans 8 28And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. 29For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified. 31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? 33Who shall bring a charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. 34Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. 35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36As it is written: "For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter."[3] 37Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Also, we are pilgrims in this world. But death is not final: Hebrews 11:13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth: 1 corinthians 15 50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. 51Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed-- 52in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: "Death is swallowed up in victory." 55"O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?" 56The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. 57But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Pastor Glenn |

Romans 8 28And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. 29For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified. Are you saying that Cain has no choice but to kill abel because it was the plan of God? if the killing of abel is a purpose then it seems that cain was born just to kill abel because it is the purpose of God? it is the nature of God to design someone life to kill? About the saving of our sins through Jesus Christ, I think God did that because otherwise if there is no one save He will lose the battle against satan. If no one will be save and all will go to hell then evil is triumhpant. In order to save the mankind he sent His son to save the word so there is someone will go to heaven and all will be in the side of satan. It is the challenge of satan that everybody will go to hell and turn back against God. |

Confusing, You asked: "Are you saying that Cain has no choice but to kill abel because it was the plan of God? " No, Cain had a choice. God tried to council Cain to do what was right, but the sins of jealousy, selfishness, and self pride ruled his heart. "if the killing of abel is a purpose then it seems that cain was born just to kill abel because it is the purpose of God? " No, Cain had a choice. God does not create evil. Gen 4 6So the LORD said to Cain, "Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen? 7If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it." "it is the nature of God to design someone life to kill? No. God sets life and death before us. He then tells us to choose life. But, many choose death instead. This is what happened with the "tree of life" and the "tree of the knowlede of good and evil" in the garden of Eden. Deuteronomy 30:15 "See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil, Deuteronomy 30:19 I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; Jeremiah 21:8 "Now you shall say to this people, "Thus says the LORD: "Behold, I set before you the way of life and the way of death. "About the saving of our sins through Jesus Christ, I think God did that because otherwise if there is no one save He will lose the battle against satan." God cannot lose, but we can. Accepting Jesus is our choice for life. Pastor Glenn |

In your last note you quote the verse that everything happened in the purpose of God now you said that killing of abel is not a purpose or plan of God. I am now more confuse than my "name" Now what is the plan of God for abel to live or to die? if said live why hes dead I heard that God is sovereign is there someone can change His plan? You said, No. God sets life and death before us. He then tells us to choose life. But, many choose death instead. This is what happened with the "tree of life" and the "tree of the knowlede of good and evil" in the garden of Eden. My query, So do you think eating of that fruit is not a plan of God, so whose plan is that? what really the plan of God for them? if they plan of God for them is different why is not happened is He not powerful enough to make it happen? what kind of Almighty is that. You said, God does not create evil. Then who created lucifer? other person? do you think if God did not create lucifer there is evil now. He sent his son to save some otherwise it an ashame for other angel if they saw every human being turn against God. |

Confusing, You said, "In your last note you quote the verse that everything happened in the purpose of God now you said that killing of abel is not a purpose or plan of God. I am now more confuse than my "name"" No, Cain killing Abel was not God's plan, but everything eventually is turned into good for those that are called according to His purpose. Abel is living now and forever. "So do you think eating of that fruit is not a plan of God, so whose plan is that? what really the plan of God for them?" God's plan was for them to live forever without death or pain. "if they plan of God for them is different why is not happened is He not powerful enough to make it happen? what kind of Almighty is that." Now Confusing, if you have children I think you already know the answer to your own question. God gives us our own share of the blame. God does a perfect job, but we do not. If you try to judge God, He will much more judge you. Even if you do not have children, you probably have infuence on someone. God does not create evil. God created Lucifer good. Lucifer turned bad in pride. Pastor Glenn |

You said, God does not create evil. God created Lucifer good. Lucifer turned bad in pride. If God did create lucifer there is no evil today. god start creation and in the very first creation that he has it fails. Lucifer become evil. When he created human, again its fell it show that he is not a good creator as you can see because of that creation of him millions of people die in pain, too many people suffer because of his creation (satan) and god cannot do something to stop it. Because he want many people to worship him he dont think of the pain and suffering that will cause of his failed creation. |

People, When you quote anyone - whether it be another forum user, a writer, a preacher, etc. - it would be better to use quotation marks. The reason? So that we can tell where the quote ends and where your own writing begins. |
