You are so right. But if we know that the world is going to be destroyed anyway, why do anything? I think the bible says somewhere about "pray for peace in Jerusalem". Why should we follow that when we also know that the only time there will be peace is when the antichrist signs the treaty for peace, which he will eventually break himself. When I heard about the terrorists' action, all I could think was "God have mercy, God forgive us." I do believe the US will turn back to Him, just as the Ninevites repented after Jonah preached to them. But I bet there were Ninevites who said, "The man was a fool. God never was going to do anything anyway".

Hi Glory777, The only problem with your comparison is that the Ninevites repented to the God of the Bible, the God Jonah was preaching about. Although here, in the USA, we have a host of different people from different parts of the world, muslim, hindu, etc. These prayer meetings that are calling on God were also calling on the god's of other religions. I hope that the USA will recognize the true God and Savior, that is the Lord Jesus Christ but I don't think that is going to happen. We cannot turn to God without recognizing the Lord Jesus Christ. We, as a nation, are not doing that. Onnig |

Amen!!! Glory777 and know this God will not share His glory with any other. If we expect something to happen through all this prayer we better start praying to God and God alone!
