1 | Acceptance of evil??? | Rom 1:1 | ceebee7 | 189928
Thanks John for your reply. The verse was not posted by me, but interesting all the same. We are quite hardline and it is always good to have the counsel of other believers not associated with the situation. Do you think serving in the church, ie ushering or any other serving area within the church is a good example of scripture. Do you think that it maybe perceived be as accepting the situation. Many thanks, Ceebee |

2 | Acceptance of evil??? | Rom 1:1 | stjohn | 189954
Hi Ceebee, Thanks for your reply, and another good question. I hope you don't think you are number two on my book, ;-) but I answered Steve [humbledbyhisgrace] on this matter, and I hope my post to him will answer your question. It certainly seems that the early Church, was a lot more holy then the Church of today. If you like read, Acts 5, I believe it gives us a good idea as does the whole Bible for that mater, on how severely God looks at and deals with sin. Unfortunately your problem is not new, or rare, in the Church, how much more affective we would be, if we truly were holy and separate form the world and the sins of the world. God bless. John |
