Larry, There is a case that went to the US Sumpeme Court. George Wilson was granted a pardon by President Andrew Jackson. Wilson refused the pardon. Chief Justice John Marshall handed down the court's decision: "A pardon is a parchment whose only value must be determined by the receiver of the pardon." This seems to reinforce the idea that Christ died for the whole world but that not all are saved, does it not? The part of the statement I was woundering about was the part about being forced out of prision w/o excpeting the pardon and being killed. Maranatha! Larry |
