Word Study ... Didasko (teach) Euaggelizo (preach)... God's day to you, Thomas8, and welcome Matthew 11:1 also has both words. In Galatains the word is Proeuaggelizomai ... Pro is before. Hebrews 4:2 is Euaggelizo. One can view the difference as preaching or proclaiming to a larger group and teaching is instructing to a smaller group and includes discipling. There can be an overlap.
