I'm not exactly sure what answer you are seeking for this question, but I would like to type to you my thoughts on it. 1st.. Fear is not of God, at least not this one. Jesus came so that we might have life and more abundantly. He gave us peace, joy, etc. The devil comes to steal, kill, and distroy. Satan is all about influencing us to open the door to sin, just as he did Adam and Eve. So that he can separate us from God... Jesus said, "I am the way, the TRUTH, and the life." If satan can get you to fear the truth he will cause you to separate yourself from God through pride. But fear has no power unless acted upon. We are held accountable, because God has given us the option to "Seek and yea shall find.... Knock and the door shall be opened". The phrase "Fear of finding truth" represents spiritual warefare. Fear/Satan and Truth/Jesus... Satan is on a mission to keep you from finding Jesus and to keep you apart from Him. But "Greater is He that is within you" , so Satan can't win the battle unless you allow him to. You have the choice and therefore you will be accountable for that choice. I hope I made since, in what I was saying. That is a quite complicated phrase to explain in writing, without writing a book. :) |

OK... LORD HAVE MERCY! Including my responces to the responders. I have counted 42 responses to my original question. Has anyone noticed that in the end, each of us have said the same thing. Even though we may not realize or admit it? Lets all agree to disagree. In the end, we all seem to agree anyway. I think this thread has come to the end of it's usefulness. Unless I have misread something somewhere, to the person we have all said the same things, only in diverse ways... George |
