Hello, I'm curious to know if you include repentance and confession with the belief and acceptance of the Gospel? Or do you believe that repentance and confession is not technically required for salvation? |

If a person hears and believes the truth of the gospel then repentance and confession are a given, not a act to be performed but the results of the change in their belief. Two examples are: Job 42:4 You told me to listen while you spoke and to try to answer your questions. 5 In the past I knew only what others had told me, but now I have seen you with my own eyes. 6 So I am ashamed of all I have said and repent in dust and ashes. Isaiah 6:5 I said, "There is no hope for me! I am doomed because every word that passes my lips is sinful, and I live among a people whose every word is sinful. And yet, with my own eyes I have seen the King, the Lord Almighty." Phil |
