1 | Is confession necessary for salvation? | Rom 10:17 | jlpangilinan | 76430
We have to clarify what confession is your talking about, is that the confession that the catholic religion was taught (confession to the Catholic priest)If yes then that is wrong. Confession on the priest was use of spaniards invador to capture our guerilla that seek freedom from them. Here in the Philippines at the time catholic priest was reported to the Spaniards soldier all about th confession of the wifes of the guerilla. If the wifes of the guerilla confessed to the priest that thier husband was a guerilla, it is the priest who reported to the spanish soldier so many of our guerilla captured. This is the big cause why it took 330 years before we won our freedom. But if your talking about if we have to confess our sins to God yes, we have to confess 1Jo 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. God bless, |

3 | Is confession necessary for salvation? | Rom 10:17 | jlpangilinan | 77009
We have to confess our salvation that is right but it means we have to give testimony regarding the truth that we received from Christ. We confess christ before men, and not a confession to the priest "saying forgive me father" We ave to confess our sins to Christ, and we give testimony to our brethren the truth that we received. God bless, |
