Greetings Friend! Before we go to some outside source, shouldn't we consider Scripture first? You made the claim that Scripture teaches that miracles and gifts will cease when the Canon of Scripture was completed (a loose paraphrase of several of your posts). Would you care to show me in Scripture where the Bible says this? Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |

Greetings Wisdom! We need to go by what the Scripture text actually says. It does not say that the gifts will cease when the canon is completed. Nor, does it say that that will cease is 'there is no 'love' being shown to one another'. It simply says that they will cease, without defining exactly when that time is. That may be, but "love" is the key God will use no matter whether you belive in Him or not. The Word of God will never cease, but love will go beyond the grave or any life on Earth. God's love is "unconditional" and His Word will never pass away. Take a closer look at what Paul is speaking in reference. |
