Lionstrong. You make several good points. However, who was it that decided which books would be in th cannon? Was it not the early church fathers? I think if it were not for the early church fathers, and their endless tiresome work, we not have a Bible to study from. There are some very important issues they dealt with that we have concrete grounds to stand on now. True they are not the Bible but they support the Bible in ways that if they had not, we might be floundering today on the Bible's meaning. justme |

Jesus said, Matt 24:35 "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away. Mark 13:31 "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away. Luke 21:33 "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away. I believe God had something to do with it! |

Lionstrong: I think you are attempting to say that God is in control. The ultimate protector of the Word is is the Word refered to in John 1:1. We agree not because og what we say. We agree because "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away." Thuss says the Lord in at least three places. Excellent point. God still uses man to accomplish His will, regardless His desires will be done. I am yours to use as you see fit. That is my prayer. God bless. justme |
