Dear Noveta -- For your first response to a question, you did fine! In my experience I've found far too many professed Christians who are quite inarticulate in their attempts to explain the biblical teaching of the triunity of God. ...... The only thing I would quibble a bit is your statement, "You almost have to accept the Bible for what it says." I'd delete "almost." ...... You are absolutely right. The correct statement would be "You have to accept the Bible for what it says". This is a great scripture "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil...." |
