In Genesis 1:26, the Lord talks of creating man in our image. He refered to himself in the plural sense. Could someone explain this to me? |

Scripture ... Gen 1:1ff, 1:2; Job 1:1ff; John 1:3; Act 17:24-25; Rom 8:29 ... nimrod, Greetings The Father (Act 17:24-25), Son (Jhn 1:3) and Spirit (Gen 1:2) were all took part in the creation. The word "God" in the creation account is from elohim, which is not just plural, but means more than two. The plural form, elah, meaning two, is seen mainly in Job.
