1 | Who do you love that you are unwill...? | John 13:34 | EdB | 128197
Everyone knows love is an emotion, an attitude a motivator. However without action love is meaningless. A husband or wife can tell their spouse they love them, but until they put action to the love it is nothing more than lip service. While love may motivate us we still have to get up and do something about it. This is same junk John Lennon learned and picked up from his guru. And you seem to want to parrot John Lennon's humanistic message he conveyed by song "All you need is Love." It was falsehood then and it is a falsehood now. God does demand love but He also demands faith, obedience, service, action. In love EdB |

2 | Who do you love that you are unwill...? | John 13:34 | Sir Pent | 128236
Attempt at consensus.................................................. EdB, CDBJ, Steve, Stultis, and Xerxes, Let's take a step back here for a moment guys. You all seem to be getting pretty heated, which is not helpful for this discussion. Also, I don't think that you actually disagree with each other to begin with. All 5 of you believe that faith in Jesus Christ is essential to being a Christian, right? All 5 of you believe that as Christians we are called to follow Jesus command to love, right? All 5 of you believe that following that commandment means more than just saying we love other, but rather that we live out that love through our actions, right? So if you all agree on these important points, can we exhibit some love in this thread by not being easily angered? |

3 | Who do you love that you are unwill...? | John 13:34 | EdB | 128242
Sir Pent I agree but I also think your missing something. There seems to be an agenda here on the part of some of the other participants and I'm curious to see how they intend to play it out. EdB |

Dear EdB, You wrote: "I agree but I also think your missing something. Stultis hasn't posted to this thread since last night around midnight. It has been mostly you and me. That leads me to believe you are suggesting that I have an agenda. We can cease the discussion now if that's all you think of me. I haven't done anything to provoke you. Point of fact, I have made an earnest and sincere attempt to clearly understand your position in order to consider it. If this is not agreeable to you, say so, and I will not offend you with further posts. Xerxes |

Hello Xerxes, Put your mind at ease, friend. Based on a private e-mail, I can say that there is nothing at all between you and EdB. Steve |
