1 | Was God reluctant to send Jesus? | Luke 24:26 | imforgiven | 115263
I agree about responding to the movie by reading scriptures. The Word penetrated my heart even more after the movie! I got into Isaiah, chapters 43-53. Since then, I've been grappling with the fall and Jesus rescuing us. I read an article which made me wonder. It said, "the greatest act of love is when you do things for God even when you don't feel like it. God did not want to send Jesus to die for our sins, but He loved us so much, he was willing." Yes, I believe God loves us with sacrificial love. Yes, I know Jesus struggled in the garden. But can anyone support/refute God's reluctance to send Jesus?
