absolutly not, but how do we know if one sincerly wants to know the truth, unless we "talk" to them and find out what they do or do not know? there are some here, who take pleasure in telling others to leave the forum, as their own posts prove. debate is healthy, it keeps you sharp. Titus 1:9 i think it is safe to say that most of us in here are either Christians, or looking to Christianity for answers. so why discourage someone at the first sign of non-conformity? we are all coming from different walks of life, and had to shed false indoctrination in some cases. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11. there is however a difference between rebuking a brother, and convincing a gainsayer, or one looking for answers. there is a difference in misinterpretation and deliberate twisting, but is it being done deliberatly, or is that what he was taught? that is my point, i see the provoking nature of his comments, as i also see in others; to whom i do not respond. | ||||||

' The founder of Mormonism said the Book of Mormon was the most correct book of any book, including the Bible (History of the Church, Vol. 4, page 461), and that a man could get closer to God by following it than any other book. Yet, essential Mormon doctrines aren't even found in it. ' This is because the Book of Mormon is nothing more than a fictional account made up by Joseph Smith. It wasn't until after the book had been printed that the additional heretical doctrines of Mormonism started to develop. That is why the Book of Mormon sounds so Christian -- at first.' ____________________ To read more go to: www.carm.org/lds/bom_look.htm lds |
