Greetings Steve! I think most people would say that since Christ is a member of the Godhead that it is appropriate to address prayers to Him or to the Holy Spirit. There is one verse (that I have found so far) where prayer is addressed to Christ - Acts 7:59. It says, "While they were stoning him, Stephen prayed, ‘‘Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.”" I hope this helps! Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |

3 | Are we do pray to Jesus? | Matt 6:9 | EdB | 14339
Now see I was always taught to pray to Father God as we were given the example by Jesus, and do it in Jesus name. Since he is the mediator and guarantor of the New Testament that brought us into relationship with God. Also Jesus said that if we ask in his name we would receive. I have never prayed to the Holy Spirit since I believe His function is to lead us to truth and turn eyes toward God the Father and Jesus His son.
