Bible Question (short): Kingdom of heaven/kingdom of God? |
Question (full): In Matthew 19:23-24 it reads: "Then Jesus said to His disciples, "Assuredly, I say to you that it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God." QUESTION: What is the kingdom of heaven and what is the kingdom of God mentioned in these two verses. Is the meaning for both the same. If not, what are the respective meanings of both kingdoms? Thank You. SW |
