1 | Should a divorced person remarry? | Matt 5:31 | newoldstock | 93155
Thanks for all of your help. I didn't realize that this thread was still alive and growing. My wife and I were not born again Christians when we were married. I have only been married to her. She was the one previously married. I have taught bible classes and studied the bible for years and this verse has definitely confused me as Justme thought. Also as George thought though I have been convicted by the verse. I have repented and asked for God's forgiveness concerning this sin and a know that He has forgiven me. I do not think that we are continuing to sin by remaining married. Divorce would be a greater sin at this point. Thanks, again.
