1 | Should a divorced person remarry? | Matt 5:31 | justme | 92969
Charley:-) You are a breath of fresh air for me. I have tried for a good while to show GeorJoy the error of his understanding and mis quoting Scripture. I continuely get told to re-read the notes he has written, that it's not his message but Gods Word. Then comes the attacks of me being a sugar coating person, and told I should read my Bible more, except to learn what it says this time. Youare the first to try and correct his misunderstandings, and he did the same to you. When I reminded his that when we sign into the forum we promise kindness and respect, that was responded to with putdowns. I backed out by sayong this was a shame to Jesus Christ. The response I got was more of the same of his past responses. I encourage you as a person new to the forum, not to spend much time with people who are unteachable. I encourage dialogue, but when there is no mutual respect and kindness, dialogue is not possible. Then move on to more productive questions or notes that are appreciated. I welcome you to the Forum! Blessings. justme |

2 | Should a divorced person remarry? | Matt 5:31 | GeorJoy | 93112
justme. I am so thankfull you are just you and I am me. Please do not respond to any more of my notes. I will do likewise. Should you choose to ignore this request again, you can expect more of what seems to insult you so much, "undeluted Word." Charlie, my quotes are dirrectly from scripture. My paraphrases are based thereon as well. You have every right to disagree with me, but when I quote scripture dirrectly, and you or anyone disagrees, it is not my place to argue the point. I may attempt to clarify, but some have no desire for clarification. They only desire justification. If I am harsh, forgive me. If I am quoting dirrect scripture and being attacked for doing so, I am going to put it like it is, whether it offends or not. God Bless George |

3 | Should a divorced person remarry? | Matt 5:31 | Morant61 | 93146
Greetings George! I was looking through your posts on this thread, but I was unable to find the Scripture you quoted which says that a person must divorce a spouse if the marriage was originally adulterous. Which verse was it? Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |

4 | Should a divorced person remarry? | Matt 5:31 | GeorJoy | 93201
I never made such a statement. However, does 2 pluss 2 equal 4? Add it up. ....... If one is living in sin. (pluss) one is forgiven of sin (equals) one does not continue in sins of the past. Forgiveness clenses one of sin. Continued sin dirties. Forgiveness does not come without repentance. Forgiveness does not change the fact that sin is sin. God Bless George |

5 | Should a divorced person remarry? | Matt 5:31 | Morant61 | 93225
Greetings George! Thanks for the response! Maybe I misunderstood. Here is what you said in post # 92545. "If you were Christians when you married, you would be in living in sin, with only divorce and repentance as a solution." I was just curious which Scripture supports that position. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
