1 | What makes a tithe a tithe? | Matt 23:23 | EdB | 225675 | ||
Interestingly Jews today do not pay a tithe. The thinking is there isn't a temple or priestly order so there is no one to pay a tithe to. They do pay for their seats in the synagogue. Each year the family is asked to pay an amount for their seats in the synagogue. I don't know how these prices are figured but I would guess the if the are like Protestants the seat in the back are the most prized. :-) |
