AMPLIFIED 2015 | Matthew 23:23 ¶ "Woe to you, [self-righteous] scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you give a tenth (tithe) of your mint and dill and cumin [focusing on minor matters], and have neglected the weightier [more important moral and spiritual] provisions of the Law: justice and mercy and faithfulness; but these are the [primary] things you ought to have done without neglecting the others. |

Bible Note: To all my brothers and sisters in Christ, It's easy to be zealous for God and His Word and ignore the heart behind all of it. It can be pretty empty when not mixed with the above mentioned things in Matthew 23:23. The last few postings I've made lately have been devoid of those things and have been a bit on the hard hearted side. Forgive me for offending or hurting anyone in the process. I am eternally grateful to the brother who so kindly and compassionatly brought this to my attention. In Christ, lionheart |
