1 | What makes a tithe a tithe? | Matt 23:23 | EdB | 225675 | ||
Interestingly Jews today do not pay a tithe. The thinking is there isn't a temple or priestly order so there is no one to pay a tithe to. They do pay for their seats in the synagogue. Each year the family is asked to pay an amount for their seats in the synagogue. I don't know how these prices are figured but I would guess the if the are like Protestants the seat in the back are the most prized. :-) |

Ed (:-) The better value is the front three rows, they are like new and so much softer to sit in. Then there is the fact you tend to pay more attention with the preacher looking down at you so close. Blessings. justme |
