1 | How many generations betw Exodus-Solomon | Matt 1:17 | Jim Estes | 207208 | ||
Hi stjohn, Was Jesus an Israelite or a Nazarene? It doesn't appear you read the thread. Of course Ruth was a Moabitess, from the Land of Moab. As for Rahab the Harlot, this all started with a timeline which shows she would have been about 96 years old at the time of the birth of Boaz. That timeline remains unchallenged. If it is true, then all the rest is academic. If I am wrong, show me HOW I'm wrong. It certainly wouldn't be the first time. Jim |

Jim, Since no women's ages are given in the Bible, with the exceptions of Sarah and Anna, how do you know Rahab was 96? Many men married multiple women, sometimes vastly younger than themselves, to build their tribes. I am not sure you can designate any age for Rahab. The fact that she wants to protect her parents suggests a young age rather than an old one. loavesnfishes |
