Greetings in our Saviour's Name! I was asked about this verse today and thought I'd consult the Forum on it. I agree that this is in reference to the second coming. My intial reaction to this verse was that the "death" is the second death of Revelation 21:8. So as Jesus spoke these words, He knew that some of those within their hearing would reject Him, thus sealing thier eternal destiny. Comments? mommapbs |

Greetings Mommapbs! It has been awhile since I studied this verse.. I couldn't help but to remember how such a large crowd followed Jesus at the beginning of His ministry, compared to the very few who were with Him in the Garden of Gethsemane. Blessings to you, Makarios |
