Does anyone have an opinion of Matthew 16:28 "Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom." Does Jesus mean the physical death of the people that were there with him or does it mean something else? This sounds a little confusing because it's been so long since then can anyone clarify this for me? |

Jesus means the physical death and nothing else. Only some of them standing there died before his 2nd Coming. The "Second Coming" occurred in the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD. Note the surrounding verses mention Him coming with reward/judgement. The Transfiguration simply does not fit the bill! http://www.preterism.info. | ||||||
