1 | Did Jonah die in the belly of the fish? | Jon 2:2 | Nevvvvine | 211932
Hi Val: Just for clarification, as soon as Jonah was cast into the sea, it was calmed. When Jonah got to Ninevah, the people had already repented, and he got ("MAD") not depressed. Jonah wanted God to destroy them, because of all he had gone through, he was sooooooo mad he sat down until God did distroy them, and ended up with sun stroke. In Gods Love Nevvvvine |

2 | Did Jonah die in the belly of the fish? | Jon 2:2 | stjohn | 211933
Dear nevvvvine, just for clarification, Jonah was not depressed as you say, but neither was he 'mad' Jonah 4:1 Jonah did not wait until God destroyed Nineveh, though their repentance was indeed transitory, he, (Jonah) would have had to wait some considerable time, most scholars believe it was at least an hundred years.. Perhaps read the story again, it's a short book. John |
