1 | Why does Jeremiah think he was deceived? | Jer 20:7 | Makarios | 28739
Greetings wdc! Yes, I understand what you mean. Jeremiah was facing opposition and began to doubt, even though he remained faithful. And of course, we all have experienced "doubt" from time to time, which is common for us who dwell on earth who struggle so much with faith. Blessings to you, Nolan |

2 | Why does Jeremiah think he was deceived? | Jer 20:7 | DMyers | 137040
Jeremiah could have been saying, "I don't see it yet." There could be the possibility that Jeremiah is petitioning God to bring light to his eyes regarding this question. "Let me see what I am not seeing. Where are you in this situation in which I feel so alone." Or he could be complaining. "It FEELS like you are making a fool of me." Could be a challenge for God to snuff the doubt and give enlightenment. Jeremiah wants answers for sure. He just happen to be pointing the finger whilst asking those questions. At least he was complaining to GOD if that was the case. :) Praise the LORD! -"D" |
