Hi charis, A capitalization question for you. You wrote that Isa 8:8 seems to speak to the 'land of Messaiah." Does that mean that you lean toward the capitalization of "Your land" as in the NKJ? This speaks to the Deity of Christ in my mind. Isaiah 7:14 and Matthew 1:23 make a very good contrast for scripture comparison. Another important capitalization would be the NKJ "Child" of Isaiah 7:16. Later, Ray |

Matt. 1:23 simply states what Mary should call her baby and what the name means. Luke 1:31 states His name shall be called JESUS,they both should mean Salvation. The first told Mary who would be her baby (GOD) and His name would be JESUS | ||||||
