Dear Aaron, One can discuss the selection of Matthias in the light of the historical context and arrive at differing conclusions without challenging the doctrine of the authority of Scripture. [15] Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. [16] Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. It's your personal profile; what is it that you have personally experienced in your spiritual walk? Have you come to the place yet where you can say “for certain’ that you have eternal life?
