1 | Why the spotlight on gays? | Prov 6:16 | DocTrinsograce | 142376 | ||
Thank you for your remarks, brother Mark. I actually tend to agree. I do know that there have been times in my life (for which I feel great shame) where I have taught others to sin. There have also been times in my life -- by God's grace -- that I have kept others from sinning. Those who sinned will be judged by God... and I will be judged for my involvement. You may be right about corporate and national boundaries. However, I can't help but notice that many of the epistles are correcting error in churches, not just individuals. And, probably more convincingly, Christ speaks to churches in a corporate fashion in Revelation 1-3. From this, I don't think He's *entirely* done with dealing with us in groups. What do you think? I'm glad it has provoked some thought. I appreciate the thought -- even when there is not agreement! -- rather than simple reaction! Of course, I can be guilty of being knee-jerk myself at times, so I have to be careful not to judge! In Him, Doc |

Hi Doc, You are of course right, Jesus addresses the Church body as a group, in the epistles and in Revelation. An so I agree, He does still deal with us as a group, at least to that extent. We are all growing in grace! Love in Christ, Mark |
