1 | Why the spotlight on gays? | Prov 6:16 | DocTrinsograce | 142246
On considering this question more closely, I am persuaded that we as believers are at fault for homosexuality in our nation. It will only begin to be resolved by repentance in the church, not the government, not the secular world, not the homosexuals themselves. If you are a believer, I encourage you to read the following article. It statest things much more clearly than might I. It is written by two pastors, Douglas Jones and Douglas Williams. http://www.credenda.org/issues/16-2memorandum.php May God have mercy on us and grant us repentance. In Him, Doc PS Comments and discussion are welcome and encouraged. |

2 | Why the spotlight on gays? | Prov 6:16 | Morant61 | 142343
Greetings Doc! If I understand the article correctly, the call of the church should not be 'Repent of your sin', but 'We are the cause of your sin, thus we repent'! I find this very odd! :-) There is absolutely no evidence either in Scripture or in experience that homosexuality is the result of a failed church. Rather, Scripture indicates that homosexuality is the end result of individual depravity. (See Rom. 1-3) Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
