1 | Why the spotlight on gays? | Prov 6:16 | DocTrinsograce | 142371
No it isn't. The church is not perfect. We will one day be presented to Christ as perfect after we have been washed fully in the Word. Any fault in the church is not a fault of Christ, any more than any fault in man is a fault of God the Creator. Easy believism elevates man and minimizes God. Repentance is the first command of our Lord. This article is calling the church to far greater holiness, not less... how did you get "easy believism" out of it? We can't just walk down an aisle (or roll/dance down it) and expect to be fully sanctified. In Him, Doc |

2 | Why the spotlight on gays? | Prov 6:16 | EdB | 142405
Doc We can't just walk down an aisle (or roll/dance down it) and expect to be fully sanctified. Uncalled for cheap shot and we both know it! Back to the subject. Repentance is that what the article said? Or was it attempting to fix blame for the sins of individuals on church. Having read the the article that's how it reads to me. And isn't that more or less the homosexual position, it is everyone else's fault except those caught up in homosexuality? EdB |
