1 | SOUL AND SPIRIT | Gen 2:7 | CDBJ | 176922 | ||
Hello, it’s nice to see new posters on the forum, It takes a while to learn how to negotiate the forum. If you will look on the far right side of the one you just posted too you will see that the posting that you answered is over five years old. Did you really mean to say Luke 16:22 instead of 12:22? Where does it suggest that the olfactory sense or the sense of smell was in operation? In Genesis 2:7, didn’t God actually breath into mans body and he became a living soul? You’re doing just fine keep on posting; the only ones that don't make any mistakes on this forum are the ones that don’t post! Have fun, CDBJ |

Hello CDBJ, Yes, navigating through the forum is very tricky. I didn't realize the post was that old. Thanks for the helping me out. Luke 16:22 - 31 is the intended scripture reference. In this series of verses the senses are demonstrated by rich man's desires: 1) the rich man wanted to dip his finger in water (touch) 2) the rich man wanted the water to cool his tongue (taste) 3) the rich man was tormented in flames (touch) 4) the rich man lifted up his eyes in hell (sight) 5) the rich man seeth Abraham a far off (sight) 6) the rich man and the Lord are having dialogue (hear) It would appear to me that if all of the other senses are operating then the sense of smell would too. Yes, I agree. God did breath life into the soul of a man, so I'm not quite understanding your question. Again, thanks for the tip. Be blessed and may the Lord give YOU unmerited favor. |
