Gen 14:17-20; Psa 110:1-7; Heb 5:1-10, 7:1-28 ... jlhetrick, greetings, Christ was in the order of Melchizedek (Heb 5:6, 10; 7:17), which was foretold (Psa 110:4) and is contrasted with the order of Aaron (Heb 7:11). We also see He is not another priest arises according to the likeness of Melchizedek (Heb 7:15). When we study Melchizedek (Gen 14:17-20; Heb 7:1-8) we see his priesthood was different, as was Christs. Study the passags I cited to see that Melchizedek was not Christ. Searcher |
