Gen.16:7,13 Gen.22:11,12,15-18. Gen.31:11-13. Gen.32:22-32. Who is this Angel of God? I am the God of Bethel... Gen.48:15,16 Who is the redeemer? Ex.3:2-6 The Angel in the bush is who? God called out to him... I am the God of thy father...Acts 7:30-32 Who is the Angel of the Lord in the bush?I am the God of thy fathers. Judges2:1 Who made brought who out of Egypt?Isaiah 9:6 The many names of Christ...note Prince of peace. Mal.3:1 who is the messanger of the covenant?Whois the one whom we delight in? Angel means messanger. Arch means greatest, put them together, greatest messenger.Jude 1:9 Who else can resurect a person from the dead? I only know of one. He also rebukes Satan. See Zech.3:2 where the Lord rebukes Satan the same way it is in Jude. Then there is Daniel 10:13. Michael is called a prince. 10:21 ...Michael your prince. My favorite because I think it best describes Micheal is Dan 12:1.And at that time shall Michael stand up the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people:and there shall be a time of trouble such as never was since there was a nation even to that time:And at that time thy people shall be delivered every one that shall be found written in the book. Michael means who is like God. Only Christ Jesus could fit the name. Rev. 12:7-9. I belong to Christ. I would think that the host/angels in heaven also belong to Christ. Michael and His angels, Christ and His angels. Do you have a problem with any of His other names? Then why Michael? I hope I was able to clarify who Michael is. Candy Lee | ||||||

Also, If I am correct in saying that appearances of the Angel of Yahweh (Angel of the Lord) in Old Testament times were actually preincarnate appearances of Christ, then it is critical that we anchor in our minds the precise sense in which He can properly be called an angel. In accordance with its Hebrew root, the word angel was used of Christ in the sense of "Messenger," "One who is sent," or "Envoy." (2) This usage of the word indicates that Christ was acting on behalf of the Father. Christ, as the Angel of Yahweh, was a divine Intermediary between God the Father and man. - Makarios |
