1 | Why did God test Adam and Eve ? | Genesis | swerv | 153620
Yes I agree !! The next question that follows - is what are the laws that NT Christians are required to obey. You said it was "never a test of obedience". But you say it was a commandment. Does not these two things go hand in hand. You said "no matter what we are suppose to always obey God". I think we agree that God wants our love and the laws He puts in place are for our benefit - so to show our love for God we should keep his commands. I think you would agree but you can let me know. I believe - after careful study of many views - that we are required to follow all of God's laws and the main foundation of all of God's law is the 10 commandments. This brings us to the tough question then -- why do we not keep the 7th day Sabbath ? In love, Swerv |

2 | Why did God test Adam and Eve ? | Genesis | srbaegon | 153648
Hello Swerv, The laws NT Christians are required to obey are in the legal systems of the countries, states, counties, and cities of residence. If you want a 7th day Sabbath so badly, petition your legislator to change calendars in the U.S. to begin on Monday and end on Sunday. Problem solved. Steve |

3 | Why did God test Adam and Eve ? | Genesis | swerv | 155094
Hey Steve: Been awhile since we have discussed issues. It is not myself that whats the 7th day as the Sabbath - I am trying to find out what God wants. Your saying we have to obey the legal systems of the country. Why then did Daniel not bow down to the idol. The reason is it went against Gods commands. So also we need to follow the command of the Sabbath - and I believe it is the 7th day. Of course we obey the rules of our country as long as they do not conflict with Gods commands. According to prophecy - I do believe that soon Sunday will be enforced as a day we must honour. Good talking to you again, Swerv |
