Mommapbs, If they knew what they were doing and they knew they were killing the Son of God, then we are talking about Judas Iscariot. And surely there is no forgiveness( Matt 26:24 ). God Bless Ngop |

5 | Luke 23:34 | Luke 23:34 | Ngop | 105498
Jcrichton, Greeting and thanks for the response. My question is not aimed at the prophecy of the coming of the Messiah. I am after those who crucified Jesus and Jesus asked the Father to forgive. The first point is : 1. Since Jesus was the one who asked the Father, were the sins forgiven? 2. When Jesus said " They do not know what they were doing" , being God, He knew their hearts? 7 | Temple of the Holy Spirit | 1 Cor 6:19 | Ngop | 105438
Emmaus, Greetings and thank you for your response. But God dwells in the flesh of Jesus because Jesus' flesh is not from dust. It is the Word made flesh ( John 1:1 ). In the Temple of Jerusalem, God's glory not God dwells in it ( I think; not so sure ).And in Exodus 25:8, God dwells among the people not in the Tabernacle. It think it means, God's presence was with them. And if I may add, in Roman 7:14, our flesh is sold as slave to sin. God and sin are like oil and water that will never mix. How will then the Holy Spirit dwells in our sinful body. God bless Ngop |

8 | Temple of the Holy Spirit | 1 Cor 6:19 | Ngop | 105432
1 Cor 6:19 : ..... "your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit....". My question is: Is it possible that the word " body" was erroneously translated? My reason is :1. Genesis 2:7 says Lord God formed the man from the dust of the ground. How can God Holy Spirit dwell in the dust. 2. "Soma" the original word can be "body" or "substance". Could it be the substance of man is the breath of life from God. If so, it could then be the Holy Spirit dwells in the Breath of God in man. The temple of the Holy Spirit is the Breath of God not the body? God bless Ngop |

10 | Have we learned this? Comments | Matt 9:13 | Ngop | 105430
Mommapbs, Again, perfect timing. Compassion should indeed rule this forum as there are tons of questions to ask and so much to learn. Sarcasm, insult and suspicion will just discourage " Ask, knock and seek ". God Bless Ngop |

11 | God's responsibility? | Numbers | Ngop | 105428
Makarios, Greetings. Please enlighten me. In human terms, one is responsible for his own doing. In a workplace, a manager is responsible to whatever failure his staff makes and in a family, a father is responsible for his children's behaviour. Now, my question is " Don't you think God feels responsible for the misdeeds of His creation?" Could it be God gave His only Son because of this feeling of responsibility ( I know John 3:16 ). BUT if it was so, it seems like it is some sort of imperfection yet we all know He is perfect. God bless Ngop |

12 | Jews and Gentiles NOT equal ? | Matt 15:22 | Ngop | 104781
Brother Joel, Thanks for telling me about the personal profile. I didn't know about it until you told me. I always wanted to know the people in this forum especially my favorite ones like Radioman2, Searcher56, MommaPBS, Makario,Emmaus and Tim Moran I learn a lot from their posts. By the way, I just realize you guys are mostly from the US of A. Ngop |

13 | Why children as well? | Bible general Archive 2 | Ngop | 104778
EdB, Brother, we just look at it this way. These people you refer to are trying to seek God. Curiosity is the beginning of Knowledge. When they start asking "Why God did this or that" or "Where is God", they will soon find out the answers and EUREKA! another soul burdened by the 40 million plus babies killed by their own mothers. God bless Ngop |

14 | Jews and Gentiles NOT equal ? | Matt 15:22 | Ngop | 104776
Joel K Greetings, Brother. Before everything else, hold your horses. I did not contradict your post. In fact I supported it with the verse from John 4. The Jews may be the the chosen ones "BUT an hour is coming, and NOW IS, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such PEOPLE the Father seeks to be His worshipers". It is because of the rebellious hearts of the Jews that Jesus said the hour is now that the Father seeks the PEOPLE that worship in truth and spirit. Certainly no longer the race. I find this topic very interesting because this also burdened me when I first saw the Light a few years ago. I have asked heaps of preachers and priests during those times. I know it is very burdensome to Shelton, that's why I tried to share. Your Gentile Brother in Christ, Ngop |

16 | Jews and Gentiles NOT equal ? | Matt 15:22 | Ngop | 104718
Joel k, I think Jesus was not making a mockery of the Pharasees. He was serious when He said He was sent to the lost sheep of Israel. This can be confirmed when Jesus sent the twelve disciples in Matthew 10:6 "but rather go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel". It is true that the Jews are the "favorites". They are the "chosen ones." And yes, He was testing the faith of the woman. In all His miracles of healing, Jesus always emphasized on the subject's faith( Mat 9:22;Mat 8:10;Mat 9:2 and many more ). But what happens to us, Gentiles. This is the question asked by Shelton88. My opinion is, at first it was really the Jews. Between them and us, there existed an edge to their advantage. BUT in John 4: 21-24, "Jesus declared to a NON-JEW "........But an hour is coming, and NOW IS, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such PEOPLE the Father seeks to be His worshipers........ God bless Ngop |

Edb, The question raised is very similar to "Why does God allow the innocent ( men, women, children ) die in terrorist attacks like 911. Surely, God can do something." I think we will never understand. Just like the ants wouldn't understand why people ride cars. God bless. Ngop |

18 | oral sex? | 1 Cor 6:18 | Ngop | 104706
Jessica21, What complicated your question is the fact that you are not married. I believe, everybody in this forum will tell you, sex ( whatever modifying word you put in front of it ) outside marriage is Biblically wrong. No argument. However, after marriage, sex is definitely allowed. Scriptural rules of engagement? Nothing. Some mistake culture and tradition as rules but they are not. Others take personal preference while the rest take what their hearts tell them. Maybe because of age or cultural differences, my belief may not be applicable to you, but let me share it with you still. Ephesians 5:25-27 "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her,so that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, that He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or "ANY SUCH THING "; but that she would be HOLY AND BLAMELESS". God Bless, Ngop |

19 | Love God or Fear God? | Matt 1:21 | Ngop | 104625
MommaPBS, I followed your post exchange with Aizen7z2. And I ended up asking myself: Do I love God or Do I fear God. Do I do things because of love or fear of Him. I am a man. Surely, you are aware of the gender's weakness when it comes to analysing the heart issues. Is there really any difference? Would it really matter? A lot of verses say " Fear the Lord " although the 1st commandment says " Love God ". God Bless, Ngop |

20 | Is it wrong to ask God, When? | Bible general Archive 2 | Ngop | 104624
Rochef2001, Greetings. Matt 21: 22 says :"And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive." Notice the word " believing "? It is the most crucial word in the verse. If we have that specific word when we pray, we do not need the "when". It should be "thanks". But then, is it wrong to ask when? I do not think so. Why? In Mark 9:24 "....... "I do believe; help my unbelief." Just humble yourself to God, and He will understand. He always does. God Bless, Ngop |
