Emmaus, Ezekiel 44.2 is indeed very clear. That is what I "wanted" to believe. We all know how sacred God is. We can see this in the Book of Exodus. Please share some more. God Bless, Ngop |

42 | Matthew 1 :20-24 | Matt 13:55 | Ngop | 80223
Ray, Greetings in Christ. Thanks for the sharing. I appreciate it. But being in the topic, maybe you can also share with me your view about Joseph sleeping with a woman whom he knew gave birth to the Son of God. Take note that there was no doubt in Joseph's mind that Mary's first "Son" is God ( Matt. 1:20-24 ) This issue was actually what confused me. It sounds sacrilegious to me. Ray, Greetings in Christ. I did not get much of what you mean. Can you please elaborate. The revelation I was referring to was the answer to the doubt I had before regarding the kinship of Jesus with the so called "brothers". God Bless Ngop |

49 | Belief in God? | James 2:19 | Ngop | 78981
Disciplerami, Greetings in Christ Jesus, Indeed, quite a puzzle. Knowing there is God and believing there is God. My opinion is "knowing" is more on knowledge while "believing" is more on a state of mind. In the following example you'll see my understanding: I know my wife is at home ( factual statement ) while I believe my wife is at home ( analytical ). God bless Ngop |

50 | Belief in God? | James 2:19 | Ngop | 78909
Sniper, Greeting in Christ our Lord. "If a person knows that there is a God, then don't they believe that there is a God?" Not necessarily. A lot of people know that there is God but they do not believe in Him. Or say, they just wouldn't bother. "Do you also consider creation to be revelation from God Himself? If so, then it makes sense to me." If one sees peace and harmony in the creation, then it is a revelation from God. Some people see creation a big messed up thing, you know. I think you misunderstood me about the Darwin Theory. What I meant about it is " It remains a theory and never further proven thus is NOT a FACT yet. Regarding your last question, Yes, that is the way I see it or say, I look at it. God bless, Ngop |

51 | Belief in God? | James 2:19 | Ngop | 78776
Sniper, Greetings! "What does it take to believe that there is a God?" A revelation from God Himself ( Matt 16:17) "How does one know that there is a God?" By looking around ( Psalm 8 ) "Other than philosophical arguments what is the evidence that there is God?" Darwin's theory of Evolution remains a Theory ( Genesis 1: 27 ) "How does a person born in the most remote wilderness know that there is a God to be sought after?" Thru us ( Matthew 28: 19 ) Does it ultimately come down to faith? Yes ( Proverb 3:5 ) God Bless, Ngop |

53 | Luke 9:27 | Luke 9:27 | Ngop | 78669
Emmaus, Thank you for the reply. Can you further elaborate? Does this mean that the Kingdom of God referred in the verse is the Church Jesus established. My idea of Kingdom of God is Heaven. The Church we have now can hardly be called paradise? It is full of disagreements, power play and competition. If the Kingdom of God is here, where did Jesus go when He ascended. Myself, being a member of this Church, am I already in the Kingdom of God? I am confused. God Bless. Ngop |

55 | Taking ones own life | 1 Cor 3:17 | Ngop | 78591
Perhaps it is simpler for you to tell him this. "Thou shall not kill" ( Exodus 20:13 ). This commandment is very clear on not to kill anybody including oneself. Ngop |

56 | Ever Doubt God's Existence? | Gen 3:1 | Ngop | 78212
Janice, I quote you "In all my adults years...". What does this mean? It means that all these years, you believe in God simply because your parents, environment or teachers implanted to you that God exists. BUT now, as you grow in knowledge about your Creator, this "doubt" comes out. It is actually good. Meaning, now you have to choose "by yourself" whether to believe or not. And when you choose to believe then it is called "Faith". And this is the one acceptable to God as you exercise your God given "freewill". Nobody is responsible now BUT YOU. After this, the next thing you'll gonna "doubt" is "Is Jesus just a man or really God". May the Holy Spirit guide you in your journey. NGOP |

57 | Psalm 37:24 | Rom 8:1 | Ngop | 77902
Jlpangilinan, Logically, yes, brother/sister, I agree with you. But please bear with me. Peter was with Christ throughout the 3.5 years of Christ's ministry and yet he denied Him three times. Even worse was Judas. The point I was driving at is as long as we are in this sinful flesh, we can not say that there is no chance of sinning or going back to our old sins as you said. In my opinion, the beauty of our salvation lies on the GRACE God gave and not on our capability to avoid sin, old or new. We should always separate the concept of Salvation from the concept of sinning. We try not to commit sin not because we are afraid of losing salvation. We avoid sin because we want to please God for giving us salvation. God bless, NGOP Salamat po. |

58 | Psalm 37:24 | Rom 8:1 | Ngop | 77901
Jlpangilinan; Beautiful verses. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. But you forgot the last part of my note, that is "as long as we do what Peter did "Lord, save me" ( Matt 14.30 )". God Bless, NGOP |

59 | Is salvation revocable? | Rom 8:1 | Ngop | 77630
phruubeljiie, You have to understand the term "Salvation" to know the answer to your question. Salvation means to have eternal life with God. It is John 3:16 "...whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have Eternal Life". To have eternal life ( salvation ), one must believe in Him ( Jesus). So the equation is: Believe in Jesus equals Salvation. Now, your question: Is Salvation revocable? The answer is simple, if a part of the equation is taken away, the equation ceases. One thing you have to remember in this salvation business. Faith will have to come first. From Faith you will have Hope and from that Hope, you will have Love. What else do one needs? NONE. NGOP |

60 | Psalm 37:24 | Rom 8:1 | Ngop | 77625
Jlpangilinan, "this verse is a very big reason that a truly saved person cannot go back to his old sins, because it is Christ live in him. If Christ truly lives in us I dont we are still capable of killing stealing or raping so on and so fort." How do you connect the verse below on your conclusion? Psalm 37:24 though he stumble, he will not fall, for the LORD upholds him with his hand This verse says, even though we are saved, being in this sinful flesh, we will still sin ( stumble ) but God will not let us lose our salvation ( fall ) as He will hold our hands like the way He held Peter, as long as we do what Peter did "Lord, save me" ( Matt 14.30 ) NGOP |
