Greetings Confused, I don’t know how much of the Bible you have read but there is a portion of it that is very pertinent with regards to your question. In order to find that out there is a specific question that you can answer that will set things in motion for giving you a clear perspective on the Bible. The Question for you is this: Have you come to the place yet where you can say, with out a shadow of doubt, that you will go to heaven when you pass from this present life? I realize this is an awesome question but do you have that assurance yet? 1 John 5:13 (GW) I've written this to those who believe in the Son of God (( so that they will know that they have eternal life.)) Have a great day, CDBJ |

Yes sir. Good to go on that. It is just that recently I have been discussing how we know each book of the Bible belongs and that there were none left out. As I look into this, it seems quite plausible that there are books in there that "may not" be inspired by God and that there also "may be" books not there that have been inspired by God. This is what I am looking for more information on. For example, Martin Luther didn't think Hebrews, Revelations, and James were not inspired. He did not think they belonged. And as I look further back, many of the books (Hebrews, Jude, and Revelations specifically) were very controversial as to whether or not they were the Word of God. Just looking for help on the matter.--confused??? | ||||||
