MiskyBlue, Welcome to the forum. Just to clarify some things here, 2 Timothy 3:16a- All scripture is inspired by God. (God breathed) God is the author, men wrote it 2 Peter 1:20,21. The difference in style and accounts reflect those who did the writting. So what we have is the inspired Word of God written by holy men of God. In Christ, lionheart |

I thought that I said the same thing LionHeart. If it didn't come out right, I am sorry. I just felt led to answer this question from Corey and I was really unsure how to use this site. I just opened this account. Once again-I agree that the Bible is from God. Small misunderstanding I guess. Sorry. :) Misty | ||||||

Misty, Greetings dear sister. Ya did fine. Nothing to be sorry about. Oft times people will get all wound up and confused over this very subject. Men may have written the bible but God has always been the sole author and will always retain authorship. The different individuals who wrote the bible explain the different writting styles. All these things are meant to shed light on the truth of Gods Word. Thus 2 Peter 1:20,21 and 2 Timothy 2:15. No misunderstanding dear heart, you keep sharing and giving your heart and watch for the great things God will do. Even us old veterans can still learn a thing or two. In Christ, lionheart |
