I think it would be helpful for ust to return to the Topic, which Is PREDESTINATION. Acts 4:25 who by the Holy Spirit, through the mouth of our father David Your servant, said, 'WHY DID THE GENTILES RAGE, AND THE PEOPLES DEVISE FUTILE THINGS? Acts 4:26 'THE KINGS OF THE EARTH TOOK THEIR STAND, AND THE RULERS WERE GATHERED TOGETHER AGAINST THE LORD AND AGAINST HIS CHRIST.' Acts 4:27 "For truly in this city there were gathered together against Your holy servant Jesus, whom You anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, along with the Gentiles and the peoples of Israel, Acts 4:28 to do whatever Your hand and Your purpose predestined to occur. Hello Hobbs! And again, warm greetings to a brother in Christ. Amen. It is indeed, all too easy to lose track. Brother may I say humbly, that the more important thing, is to see the message there in Acts 4, is that they were proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ, and His resurrection. For after-all, isn't that what we are all to do? Are we not to be filled with the Spirit of God, and with power, preach the good news of the hope in our salvation, by the Blood shed for the world, "for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son." For our sins, and for all who might come to Him. Acts 4:33 And with great power the apostles were giving testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and abundant grace was upon them all. Brother, I was drawn into this debate because I attempted to point out a simple truth, that although the study of God's Word is very important, and that cannot be stressed enough, there is at least something more important, and that is Proclaiming that truth. God bless. John |
