"Is marriage necessary for a man and a woman to be committed to their relationship?" .... This is the same thing as asking, "Is it all right to fornicate?" -- assuming that the relationship in question involves sexual intimacy. And God's answer is a flat No, it is not right to fornicate, commit adultery, or engage in any other sexual acts outside of marriage. These the Bible calls sins, friend. It is sinful to engage in sexual activities outside of marriage. There are many Scriptures on or closely related to this subject. See for example Matthew 15:18-20; 1 Corinthians 6:9; Hebrews 13:4. | ||||||
