John And of course you forget to mention that the meaning of the word "elect' is the what is in dispute. No one argues what the Bible says “elect”. The question becomes did the writer mean to express the idea the word "elect" has now evolved into or did it mean something completely different. Tim has shown us many places where the word “elect” meant the current state rather than any predisposition. Therefore your answer while appearing to be innocent is actually presenting a bias and that is forbidden. So next time John when you piously defend your right to express an idea either present the true issue or give both sides else you find yourself in violation of the rules. EdB |

John Accurate? Without sharing both views you are pushing one. Without mentioning all the issue you present a picture that is not exactly true. It would be like me asking you, "do you still beat your wife?" what is implied is far more damaging than actually making a accusation. To be accurate you needed to present both sides of the issue or remain silent on it. EdB |
