2 | Was this promise fulfilled? | Josh 1:4 | Searcher56 | 148577
Scripture ... Gen 15:18-21, 17:8, 26:3, Exo 23:23; Deu 1:7-8, 30:1-5; 1Ki 4:21,24; Jer 29:14, 30:3; Eze 47:13-48:35 ... Mommapbs, greetings. Based on what I read while Solomon may have (come close to) have ruling of the entire land (1Ki 4:21,24) promised (Gen 15:18-21, 17:8, 26:3, Exo 23:23; Deu 1:7-8, 30:1-5), the promise was restated (Jer 29:14, 30:3; Eze 47:13-48:35). The northern border is from the Mediterranean through Hamath to the Euphrates. The eastern border is the Euphrates. The southern border is the Mediterranean Sea at river of Egypt, through Kadesh to Ur by the Euphrates River. The western border is the Mediterranean Sea. Searcher |

3 | Was this promise fulfilled? | Josh 1:4 | Mommapbs | 148604
Searcher - I wrote a reponse but lost it somehow. In noting the prophetic references of Eze and Jer, and taking into account Angel's observations, does it appear that God will bring this promise about Himself in the end? (Am I stretching too much on this one to suggest Gal 4:30?)Might this be part of God's plan that we see unfolding in the Middle East? mommapbs |

4 | Was this promise fulfilled? | Josh 1:4 | Searcher56 | 148605
Scripture ... Gen 16:12, 17:20, 21:13,18; Deu 2:5,9,19 ... mommapbs, Galatians 4:30 is a reference to Genesis 21:10. I think the Arabs (decendants of Ishamel, Esau, Moab, and Ammon) were given promises or Israel was given restictions (Gen 16:12, 17:20, 21:13,18; Deu 2:5,9,19). Many, dare I say most, don't like what God has said. The land promised to Israel belongs to them and not anyone else, includign the church. God has land for the Arabs, too. Searcher |
