Subject: Was this promise fulfilled? |
Bible Note: Greetings Nobel - yes, we can't stand still and expect to receive what necessitates action on our part. The action of belief (in the Lord) brings pleasure to God (Heb 11:6). Does lack of action (not taking what was promised) indicate a lack of belief here for Israel? (As a man thinks in himself, so is he Pr 23:7) See the far reaching consequences of this today . . . and yet, since God keeps His promises; He is faithful to all He has made, what might we expect to see today and in the future in this part of the globe? imho, the war in Iraq is much more than a response to terror or oil. Although Paul tells us (Gal 4:24) that it is of a spiritual nature, the promise of Gal 4:30 may apply here to a degree too. Blessings, trish (mommapbs) |
